You drink what?!?

Jar of Honey close upHere at the farm we’re constantly mixing up some crazy concoction to fix what ails us. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they blow up all over the kitchen! After reading about the benefits of raw honey, we stumbled upon what we later found to be an old-fashioned home remedy: apple cider vinegar and honey “tea.”

Apparently there are numerous benefits in consuming raw, organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV). Numerous resources online indicate consuming ACV can aid in the alleviation of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, arthritis, heart burn, eczema, and bad breath. It’s also said to help the skin glow, to aid digestion, support the immune system, and aid in recovery from physical exercise. Of course, we’re not doctors and we don’t know how it works, but Pappy, after drinking this “tea” for a week or two, noticed his blood sugar was down at least 40 points and that he had more vim, vigor, and vitality, as the saying goes!

Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey “Tea”

1 T organic Apple Cider Vinegar (we like Braggs)
1/2 to 1 T raw honey (like Bear Creek Farms)

Dissolve in a glass of warm (not boiling) water, up to 20 oz. Drink once or twice a day.

Give it a try, and let us know what you think!

Hi, Maren! What a cool name!

Thank you so much for your compliment on the honey! We try hard to keep it as pure as possible so people love our honey as much as we do! We are really humbled by your comment!

Our honey is for sale at the Mule Barn and Downing Street Salon in Hollister, Missouri. In a few weeks’ time we’ll be open, and you can always come get a jar at the barn.

Thanks again for the compliment! We appreciate it!

    Hello,
I really enjoy the quality of your raw honey. It’s the best in the region! I use it in a medicinal, and culinary capacity.
I would like to buy another jar, and so I was wondering if your raw honey is available in any retail locations within Branson?

Any information you could offer would be very appreciated! Thanks! 🙂
